From there, I’ll craft a bespoke script tailored to your wishes. You’ll have the chance to review it, and together we’ll shape it until it feels just right—an authentic reflection of you.
When meeting with the family of the deceased, I take the time to understand their life and legacy. It’s deeply important to me that the service honours them with dignity and respect. I create and deliver a bespoke ceremony that celebrates their life while offering comfort and meaning to those gathered in farewell.

Ceremonies for families wishing to celebrate a new life without a religious context, I offer bespoke baby naming ceremonies. Drawing on traditional elements without faith-based expectations, I work with parents to create a beautiful occasion that reflects their values and hopes for their child.

Registrars are granted by law to officiate a Wedding via civil ceremony, meaning the ceremony is purely secular with no religious tones whatsoever. The Registrar is in charge of processing and approving the couple’s marriage licence, with the wedding ceremony acting as a formality after the legalities are taken care of.
Celebrants can support and guide couples in completing the necessary requirements for the marriage licence, but don’t have the authority to approve it. However, they can officiate a far more bespoke ceremony. To find out more, click here.
No. You will need to arrange for a Civil Partnership Registration in the Registrar’s office with two adult witnesses to legally register your marriage. This is the administrational part of the process, so does not need to be treated as a formal ceremony.

When I officiate ceremonies in Spain it is normally for a couple that travel to a destination with their loved ones invited to share in their love. Although everyone has travelled there, I would suggest that most are expecting traditional elements in the actual ceremony.
I provide a timeline of elements (see below) that might help couples to start to piece what their ceremony would look like.
My Job is not to tell you, but to help you along the way using my years of experience on what works and doesn’t. But, you will never hear ‘No’ from me…
Most Funeral Directors have a list of male and female Celebrants there are familiar with and have vetted. However, you can also inform the Funeral Director that you would like to use a specific Celebrant.
In my experience, I make contact with the family of the deceased and offer my condolences. I will then ask that we meet with as many members of the family wish to be involved so I can get to know the life story of the deceased.
I will go through an in-depth process I have developed to learn as much as possible, then write a script for the service that includes elements that the family would like to include (see below).
I will also assist in anyway I can with the grief process and any family member or friend that might want to be a part of the service.
One the day of the service, you can count on me to be there on your arrival and present a service they way you wanted.
